About Pacific Combustion Solutions

Pacific Combustion Solutions (PCS) is a specialist energy consultancy and solutions provider, delivering tailored boiler house and combustion solutions to industrial heat and steam users across a wide range of sectors. We have a deep capability in burner and combustion systems that extends across process heating, kilns, ovens, furnaces and thermal fluid applications.

PCS brings together combustion engineering and steam system expertise to deliver process-led thermal optimisation. We are agnostic to product, energy source, and technology: our starting point is always your process, and we work backwards from it to design the most efficient and cost-effective solution for your specific needs. Whether that lies in combustion, electrification, heat recovery, steam, or a combination of all four.

Operating across Australia and the United Kingdom, PCS provides on-site energy assessments, engineering consultation, and implementation support to industrial steam users throughout Oceania and Europe. Our experience spans both sides of the boiler — combustion controls and burner management on the dry side, and steam distribution, condensate and heat recovery, and water treatment on the wet side. This complete picture is what allows us to pinpoint where energy is being lost, and to recover or redeploy it more effectively.

PCS starts with what your process actually needs, not the nameplate rating. By understanding your true steam and or heat demand, available fuel sources and recovery opportunities first, we design combustion and control solutions sized to the process: cutting fuel and emissions while improving reliability rather than compromising it.

Site Energy Assesment

We begin by measuring existing performance and turning it into a clear baseline metric, then set achievable, easy-to-understand targets and KPIs that every member of the site team can understand and act on. The assessment centres on the boiler house and combustion but deliberately extends to process demand, heat distribution and water treatment, because each one drives boiler house efficiency.

Where improvements qualify, we work with accredited partners to capture ESCs, VEECs, ACCUs and other decarbonisation grants that support the site's efficiency journey.

End to End Steam and Combustion Solutions

From burner to boiler to energy distribution, we specify and supply the complete solution as a single accountable partner. Limpsfield burners, Autoflame controls, and Clayton combustion and electric boilers sit within a trusted network of steam and water-system suppliers we have worked with for decades. Wherever flue gas, blowdown or process waste heat can be put back to work, we build heat recovery in and structure solutions so eligible efficiency gains can be measured, confirmed, and where applicable monetised through certificate and grant schemes.

Hydrogen-ready, fully-metered combustion with continuous monitoring, feeding measured performance back to trim the system as conditions change.

Steam, water and multi-fuel boiler control functions all sit within a single system, giving the client clear, easy-to-understand visuals focused on performance and reliability.

We design and supply combustion and boiler controls matched to process demand, minimising standing and cycling losses, drawing on renewable fuels, and recovering heat wherever the system allows.

Electrification

Our solutions always consider the integration of targeted electrification and hybrid pathways that cut Scope 1 emissions at the source. We can design and supply solutions to draw on low-tariff renewable windows, so decarbonisation and running costs pull in the same direction. By working within your existing electrical infrastructure and combustion systems, we enable partial or full electrification with no disruption to your process, and financial benefits that reach beyond Scope 1 reductions alone. Where they apply, we help access ACCUs, LGCs and grant funding through our trusted partnerships

PCS Solution Equipment

Clayton Boilers

Clayton fired steam generators use a controlled-circulation coil design that produces steam rapidly from a compact footprint, with high thermal efficiency and a fraction of the water volume of conventional shell boilers. The result is fast start-up, responsive output that tracks changing demand, and a safer, lower-inventory alternative where space or rapid steam-raising matters, now extending into electric models for sites moving for greater decarbonisation.

Autoflame

Autoflame combustion management systems bring fully-metered, cross-limited control to burners of every size. Continuous monitoring of combustion performance, including exhaust gas analysis. This lets the system trim fuel and air in real time as conditions change, holding tight efficiency across the full firing range. It's the platform that turns a burner from fixed settings into a system that measures, adapts and reports.

Limpsfield

Limpsfield designs and manufactures industrial burners engineered for reliable, efficient firing across a broad range of fuels and applications. Robust construction, precise fuel-air handling and multi-fuel capability make them a dependable front end for steam-raising and process heating. A burner built to run hard, run clean, and integrate cleanly with modern metered controls

Steam Valving and Metering Equipment

PCS has the process experience and engineering capability to support the total thermal solution across the steam boiler house from correct metering and monitoring installation to steam control, hot water, heat transfer and heat recovery system integration
